Mi ritrovo in India dopo decisioni prese, dopo chiusure importanti, dopo tanta stanchezza accumulata.

In questi giorni in India ho ricominciato a pensare, a sentire, a respirare.

_____________

It’s been my first time in India, and I find myself here after a 360° change. I find myself in India after taking many decisions, after important closures, after a lot of tiredness accumulated. I find myself in India after a lucky encounter with Emanuela and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else in the world. I find myself in India for the first time and I’m here to breath it all in, to feel it on my skin, to find it in the deepest strings of my being.
I’ve met the eyes of the girls that AFLIN supports, Ive been in their houses, I’ve shared their smiles. I’ve felt embarrassed, many times. I felt inadequate and out of place, always. The girls have dreams, their parents gave them un a lot time ago.
The girls have hope, their parents too. The first days I felt like I was trying to empty the ocean with a very small bucket but then I realized that we have to concentrate on the 1 story, the 1 girl. The difference is in the 1 that becomes 1 more and 1 more and 1 more and so on. And it’s on this plus 1 that I’ve decided to concentrate because we change a little the life on this 1.
In the meantime the sun is setting on Pushkar, it’s cold, very cold. It’s time for Puja and this singing that has become so familiar to me, just like the honking, the voices, the cows, the super spicy food, the black eyes, the smiles, the smell of incense, the head movement that I like so much.
These days in India I’ve started to think, feel and breathe once again.
This place forces you to live, and there’s nothing more beautiful.
