In India!
Il 9 febbraio, io ed Emanuela, siamo arrivate in India, per una nuova missione di AFLIN.
Il primo impatto con questo paese è stato molto forte: macchine che sbucano da ogni dove, clacson suonati all’impazzata, odori nuovi e tante, tantissime, persone.
Il giorno dell’arrivo abbiamo fatto un giro per Delhi, tra templi, stradine con vari negozietti e chioschi, sempre scortate dal nostro pazientissimo driver Rahul.
Il giorno seguente è arrivata la terza compagna di viaggio, Betty, una fotografa che con il suo umore scoppiettante fa venire allegria a tutti. Abbiamo proseguito il nostro giro della città, dando un tocco spirituale al nostro tour, con il colorato tempio dedicato a Lakshmi ed il suggestivo Gurdwara Bangla Sahib.
E così si arriva al terzo giorno, il giorno del viaggio alla volta di Pushkar: tra contrattazioni con i facchini della stazione, mille bagagli pesantissimi, e tre ore di ritardo del treno. Dopo il lungo viaggio, siamo finalmente arrivate ad Ajmer, dove Deepu e Visnu ci aspettavano per portarci a Pushkar.
Dopo due giorni ci siamo spostate nella città di Jaipur, dove ci hanno raggiunte Maria Chiara ed Angelo, e dove abbiamo fatto la prima visita all’orfanotrofio Samparan Sansthan, il quale ospita 27 bambine e 3 bambini.
The 9th of February me and Emanuela arrived in India, for AFLIN’s new mission. The first impact with this country was very strong: cars that pop up anywhere, clacson ringing everywhere, new smells, and so so many people. The day of the arrival we went around Delhi, between temples, little roads with shops always accompanied by our very precious Rahul. The next day our third travel partner arrived, Betty, a photographer that with her bubbly personality puts everyone in a good mood; we continued the tour of the city, giving it a spiritual taste with the colored temple dedicated to Lakshmi and the suggestive Gutdwara Bangla Sahib. And so the third day arrived, they day of traveling to Pushkar: between bargaining with porters at the train stations, so many heavy luggage, and a three hour train delay; after the long trips, we finally got to Ajmer where Deepu and Visnu were waiting to take us to Pushkar.
Two days later we went to Jaipur, where Maria Chiara and Angelo met us, and where we did our first visit to the orphanage Samparan Sansthan, that hosts 27 girls and 3 boys.
